A rapper's most important attribute is his confidence and Coolio is oozing with it as he prepares for his MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) brawl against fighter Eric Martinez next month.

Coolio not only sees himself coming out of the brawl victorious, he plans to perform after the anticipated brawl.

"I'm not a good loser, so I don't plan on losing, it will be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to seeing my fans out," Coolio said via a statement. "I'm scheduled to perform on Dec 11th the night of the weigh-in and I'll rock the mic the same night after I beat up Martinez." 

Coolio is replacing fellow rapper DMX who backed away from the fight last week due to safety concerns.

The promoter for the fight, Thunder Promotions, claimed that DMX pulled out because he wanted the fight fixed and they shot down his request.

Coolio's MMA brawl will take place on December 12 at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex in Birmingham, Alabama.  The location for his performances will be announced in the coming days.
