Former Young Money rapper Curren$y recently revealed that he has formed a super group with Mos Def and fellow New Orleans emcee Jay Electronica.
Curren$y divulged to MTV that the trio formed the group after spending time together at Dame Dash's new facility in New York called DD172.
The group's name is Center Edge Territory, a moniker which Mos Def came up with.
The trio have recorded six tracks together and plan to release their collaborative album independently.
"We all know the game is in turmoil. We know the machine messed it up,” explained Curren$y. "We know we don't even need to play that game, especially with access to all of this sh--. We are our own machine."
Curren$y, who has already released two solo projects this year (This Aint A Mixtape & Jet Files), recently wrapped up his latest effort titled The Muscle Car Chronicles which features Thomas Pridgen from the Mars Volta and newcomer Sean O'Connell.
