G-Unit's newest member will be a former Rocafella affiliate by the name of Beanie Sigel.
During an interview with Philadelphia's Power 99 yesterday (November 3) with Beanie Sigel by his side, 50 Cent revealed that the Broadstreet Bully will be joining his crew.
"Beans is coming to G-Unit," 50 told Power 99 with Sigel in the background chanting the crew's trademark call.
Last week, Sigel dropped a diss track taking shots at Jay-Z titled "What You Talking About?”
A day after releasing the diss track, Sigel would appear on a radio show claiming that Jay-Z failed to support his career and was underpaying former Rocafella artists who were joining him on tour.
Sigel also revealed that Jay-Z blocked him from signing a major deal with G-Unit when he was having financial difficulties and was unhappy at Rocafella.
During the interview with Power 99 yesterday, Sigel revealed he would continue his attacking Jay-Z.
"He’s a crumb and I’m gonna put
my foot and his neck until he responds,” said Sigel.
When asked about Sigel attacks during a press conference on his tour run last week, Jay-Z pointed out that he had done everything to help the Philly rapper gain success.
"He has a lot to complain about," Jay-Z said jokingly. "Not me. Well Beanie Sigel at the time, and you can look it up if you like, just to be honest, was driving two Bentleys, I don't know how. It's impossible to drive two cars at one time with his mama in the sticks and selling 800,000 records. I don't know what more you can do for somebody at that point. What people choose to do when they attain that type of success, you know, at some point you have to look in the mirror and look at yourself."
"Beanie Sigel had a record deal, a record label, and a clothing line. And never went platinum, ever. I don't know in the history of rap has anyone done so much with so little.," Jay-Z added. " I don't know what more you can do for a person at that point. But a record deal, that's normal. A record label and a clothing line, so, if that's not pushing a person, sh*t. Thank-you."
