In a recent interview with The Virginian-Pilot, Timbaland's brother Sebastian revealed that his hit-making brother was shot in the earky 90's before he achieved stardom.
Sebastian, who has appeared on various Timbaland singles including the hit song "The Way I Are", divulged that his brother was shot in the chest by a co-worker's gun which accidentally went off.
According to Sebastian, Timbaland and the aforementioned co-worker were feuding. The co-worker snuck the gun in to their workplace (Red Lobster) via a duffel bag.
Doctors told Timbaland that he would never be able to move a portion of his right upper torso but the producer never gave up his love for music and bounced back.

Sebastian is currently working on his own debut album. The Virginia bred rapper has released a single called "Wobbly" which is getting rotation on local radio stations.
Sebastian says he no plans on working with his famous brother to get recognition.
"This album has nothing to do with him," said Sebastian. "My thing is, just listen to the music."
