Barely three days after it was announced that he would be replacing Forest Whitaker in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming flick The Expendables, 50 Cent has now been replaced by actor Terry Crews.

As reported earlier, 50 Cent landed the role after Whitaker dropped from the flick due to a scheduling conflict but according to AintItcool, Stallone's fan base reacted angrily to the action star picking the rapper.

Stallone has now decided to go with Terry Crews (Everybody Hates Chris, White Girls).

The Expendables revolves around a group of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator.

The movie is expected to begin filming this month.  The film was written by Stallone and he will be also starring and directing.

The film boasts a cast of revered action stars including Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
