Lil Wayne and Kanye West are the only rappers who landed on Rolling Stone's list of '100 People Who Are Changing America'

The list celebrates people in the fields of entertainment, politics, art, science and technology who have gone against the grain and have had an impact on America.

Kanye West landed on No. 7 on the list while Lil Wayne came in at No. 19.

West is praised for his ability to push the envelope while Lil Wayne is praised for his work ethic and ability to remain relevant despite overexposure.

U.S. President Barack Obama topped the list which also included Lebron James, Bill Gates, Anderson Cooper, Steve Jobs and Bono, among others. [View The Complete List]
