R&B crooner Ne-Yo has shot down rumours that he was beat down by Dipset rapper Jim Jones.

Over the past weeks, rumours have been circulating that the singer along with his manager were assaulted by Jim Jones and his entourage at a Louis Vitton store on Christmas Eve.
 
Local authorities did confirm that an incident occurred at the store on December 24th and Jones was charged with misdemeanour assault this week.
 

Details about the incident are still sketchy, but Jones is believed to have attacked Ne-Yo's manager who is also the brother of Jay-Z's friend and associate, Tyran 'Ty Ty" Smith.
 
It has yet to be confirmed if Ne-Yo was at the scene, but the singer revealed in his blog that he was not attacked by Jim Jones or the rapper's crew. 

Ne-Yo also shot down reports of being engaged and persistent rumours that he is gay. 

The gay rumour has followed the singer since the beginning of his career, but the whispers of his sexual preference sparked again after the singer joked that he saw his neighbour, Young Jeezy, walking naked from a window in his house.
 
"I'm not gay, I'm not prejudice to anyone, I did not get stomped out by Jim Jones or anyone else," Ne-Yo wrote. "I'm not engaged, I'm not stupid. And to anyone that insists on thinking that any of these things are true......F**K YOU. To the haters...find some new material please!!!"
