Faith Evans, the widow of rapper Notorious B.I.G. , recently responded to Lil Kim's accusations that she deliberately cut off the former first lady of Junior Mafia from participating in the making of Biggie's forthcoming biopic Notorious.

As reported earlier, Lil Kim claimed that Evans andBiggie's mother (Voletta Wallace) refused to involve her in  the production of Notorious and allowed her character to be portrayed negatively in the film.

Kim claimed that the debasing  her character came from stories from Evans' memoir, Keep The Faith.

Evans tells MTV she has chosen to dismiss Kim's accusations because she had nothing to do with the film's script and that Kim signed a contract for her character to be used in the flick.

"It's kinda sad," Evans said. "I got four kids, and I definitely don't have time for this type of sh--. It's just sad. I don't know Kim's story like that. The part of my life that she was a pa rt of, that what was in my book. This movie is not relative to my book other than that there are certain things in there. This is not my movie. I didn't write the script."

"Any characters in the film had to agree for their life rights to be in the movie. I don't think I would have signed anything had I felt I was not portrayed properly," Evans added. " I think she had the opportunity to do that. I could be mistaken. I wasn't there."

Evans revealed that the Notorious film is based on the Biggie biography Unbelievable which was written by Cheo Hedari Coker . Evans claims that Kim contributed to the book.

"It's not like [the film's producers] are calling Faith to write something about somebody," Evans stressed. "It's based on a book that I think [Kim] participated in. I don't know what to say. I think that beyond myself, Ms. Wallace or whoever else she wants to blame, everyone who was around Big at that time has had some things to say about [her relationship with Biggie] in order for Cheo to even write the book. He interviewed pretty much all of us. She's sadly mistaken. I'm aware of what she has to say, and that's fine. I don't know what to say. God bless her."

During her attacks on Evans and Ms. Wallace , Lil Kim claimed she will be exposing both women but did not say how. Evans claims she has nothing to hide.

"I don't think there's anything about me that I would be ashamed of that I haven't already told people," Evans said. "I hope she found the closure she's looking for."

Biggie's mother would rather settle the drama. Ms. Wallace recently revealed that she wants to a chat with Kim to work things out and learn more about the rapper's relationship with her son.

Lil Kim said she would not be supporting Notorious and she kept  her word by not appearing at the film’s New York  premiere on Wednesday (January 7)  which drew Biggie's closest friends and various celebrities.

Notorious is slated to open in theatres nationwide  on January 16th with Brooklyn rapper Gravy playing Biggie.
