Lupe Fiasco is spreading holiday cheer in his hometown of Chicago today (December 29) by distributing winter wear to local children.

According to Chicago's WLS, the rapper will be donating $5000 in winter wear to deserving families in Chicago including those located in West Side Chicago where the rapper grew up.

In related news, Lupe is currently putting together his final solo album titled LupEND.

As reported earlier, the album will be a three disc set. The three discs are individually called Everywhere, Nowhere and Down Here.  The album is expected to hit stores in 2009.
