Pharrell Williams will be serving as a producer on an upcoming music themed film titled Zoom.

According to Variety, Zoom will tell the story of a troubled West Virginia youth who attends a music academy and finds his voice and a place in the world.

8 Mile producer Brian Grazer will produce the film along with Williams. Williams will be composing the film's score and soundtrack.

The flick will be directed and written by Preston Whitmore (This Christmas) and will be released via Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
