Katt Williams' family is reportedly seeking to have the comedian evaluated and hospitalized for his recent erratic behavior.

According to The Sumter Item, South Carolina cops responded to a suspicious persons call from a local motel on Friday morning (November 15) and found Williams dressed in a bath robe with a towel wrapped around his head, trying to check in.

Police would not arrest Williams but he would show up minutes later at the office of attorney Garryl Deas asking for help and representation.

Deas claims that Williams seemed 'disoriented' and was 'speaking gibberish' about that police "attempting to violate his rights".

Deas also claimed that Williams talked about his career and claimed that everyone had turned against him.

Williams' family would show up at Deas' office and got police to transport the comedian to a local hospital for evaluation.

The comedian's family want Williams to be evaluated and committed. It is unknown if both have occurred.
