Jim Jones, Skull Gang and comedian Mike Epps have teamed up to release a Christmas compilation titled A Tribute To Santa.

The set, which will be in stores on November 25th, will feature 15 new Christmas songs and skits from Mike Epps. Fans can hear foursongs off the project at http://eppisodes.com/.

In related news, Jones will be releasing  his new  solo album titled Pray IV Reign in early 2009.

The Harlem rapper also plans to release a documentary based on his life and  a coffee table book.

Superstar producer Timbaland will be serving as an executive producer of an upcoming film titled Vinyl.

According to Billboard, Vinyl is based on the story of five young women facing life-altering decisions about their relationships with members of a rock band.

The movie will begin shooting in spring and will be released via Timbaland's Mosley Media Group and Duly Noted Inc.

Houston rapper Chamillionaire is currently prepping for the release of two projects: his latest mixtape titled Mixtape Messiah 5, and his upcoming album, Ve nom.

Mixtape Messiah 5 will be available for free download on Chamillionaire.com on November 23rd. A release date for Venom was not revealed.
