R&B crooner Ne-Yo recently revealed he is putting together a movie loosely based on his life.

According to Rap-Up, Ne-Yo revealed he will begin filming the flick  in December.

“We are putting together the [film] right now as we speak, as a matter of fact,” divulged Ne-Yo.  “The name of the movie is Venice Beach and basically it’s going to be my 8 Mile, loosely based on [my] life, but not really.”

This will be Ne-Yo's second film.  The singer appeared in 2007’s Stomp the Yard.
