DMX appeared in a Phoenix court yesterday (September 29) on a bench warrant issued for his arrest for failing to appear in court.

As reported earlier, the rapper was initially due in court last week but failed to make an appearance after being rushed to hospital for symptoms associated with a stroke.

According to FOX News, DMX's court appearance on Monday only lasted two minutes. 

The rapper’s lawyer, Charles Kozelka, told the presiding judge that he was not at liberty to discuss his client’s medical condition.

DMX is facing a slew of charges in Phoenix including marijuana possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.

The rapper is expected back in court on October 7th.
