Atlanta rapper Ludacris was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame yesterday (September 20).
According to The Associated Press, Luda was the first rapper to ever be inducted into the revered hall of fame.
“And just to think 10 years ago I was trying to put pizzas through the oven at Pizza Hut to make sure I didn't get fired,” Ludacris said in a speech at the Georgia World Congress Centre. “Now the only way I'll get fired is if I fire myself, so that's a beautiful thing right now for sure.”
Luda will be releasing his latest album titled Theatre Of The Mind next month.
NEW DEAL
R&B singer Christina Milian recently announced that she has signed a deal with MySpace Records.
According to Billboard, the singer will release her fourth album which is currently untitled next spring. The set will feature an appearance from Kanye West.
The album's first single, 'Us Against The World', will be available on MySpace on October 6.

As reported earlier, both men were critically injured in a plane crash that killed four people late Friday (September 20).
According to The Associated Press, Dr. Fred Mullins said Sunday morning (September 21) that both men are being treated for second- and third-degree burns and are still in critical but stable condition.
Mullins said Barker was burned on his torso and DJ AM was burned on his hands and part of his head. He also added that their recovery from the burns could take as long as a year.
