Mos Def has reportedly teamed up with street wear label Undrcrwn to release a cut-and-sewn fashion line in 2009.
According to Fashion United, the line is called “Mos Def designed by Dustin Canalin for Undrcrwn” and will be a collection of 14 pieces inspired by Dead Prez's 2004 album RBG: Revolutionary But Gangsta.
Mos Def will showcase the clothing line at a listening party at the Palms in Las Vegas on August 26th. The clothing line will be hitting stores in February 2009 and will retail from $36 to $200.
This marks the second collaboration between Mos Def and Undrcrwn. Earlier this year they released a T-Shirt line called “The Watermelon Syndicate” which is currently for sale exclusively at Karmaloop.com.
