Actor Samuel L Jackson recently revealed that he would like to see Outkast rapper Andre 3000 play the lead character in the live-action film of the popular Spike TV cartoon, Afro Samurai.

Jackson provides the voice for the main character in Afro Samurai cartoon and also serves as an executive producer for the show.

“When I look at [Afro Samurai], I see Andre 3000,” Jackson told MTV.

Jackson divulged that a script for the movie is still being worked on. He plans to play the main character's father in the movie

A video game for Afro Samurai is expected to hit stores soon and the show's second season will premiere in 2009.
