NOT SO FAST
Sorry folks, the next Jay-Z album will not be produced entirely by Timbaland.
Earlier this month, Timbaland implied he will be the only producer on Jay-Z’s upcoming project but the Brooklyn rapper shot down the notion in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
“You know I love Timbaland, he is like a brother to me, but until the music is done it’s premature,” Jay-Z said. “I’m a person that works off music. If Timbaland makes 10 great tracks then he produces the album, if Kanye West makes 10 great tracks then
he produces the album; if he makes three, I’ll take three. I let the music dictate the direction.”
MORE TO THE STORY
Representatives for Chicago rap duo Kidz In Hall have revealed details about the incident involving the group at an Arizona night club over the weekend.
As reported earlier, Naledge was arrested at the Cherry Lounge & Pit on Saturday (July 26) for interfering with an investigation into a fight.
According to the group’s camp, the fight involved Double-O who was badly assaulted by the club’s bouncers. Police at the scene claimed that no injuries were reported but the group's camp claims Double O suffered multiple injuries and had to undergo surgery.
Naledge was outside of the club while Double-O was being assaulted and his attempts to get medical help for his rap partner were misconstrued by police as a hindrance to the investigation.
Double-O remains under hospital care but is in stable condition. Naledge was released from police custody after posting a $500 bond.
