Ludacris' track dedicated to Barack Obama, "Politics (Obama is Here)", is not getting any support from the presidential candidate.
On the song, Ludacris praises Obama and also takes shots at George W. Bush, Hillary Clinton and John McCain.
The Atlanta bred rapper refers to Bush as the worst president, calls Clinton a b***h and claims the only chair McCain deserves is a wheelchair. [Listen to “Politics (Obama is Here)”].
The song is off Ludacris' latest mixtape titled The Preview.
Obama's camp reacted to the song today (July 30) via the following statement:
"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he shou
ld be ashamed of these lyrics."
