50 Cent is reportedly filming a movie to coincide with his upcoming album titled Before I Self Destruct.
According to The Bergen County, 50 has been shooting the film in Paterson, New Jersey for the past week. The film is also titled Before I Self Destruct.
As reported earlier, 50 plans to drop Before I Self Destruct later this year and it will be his final album on his current deal with Interscope Records.
He also plans on dropping a book titled The 50 Laws of Power which will be the rapper's spin of Robert Greene's The 48 Laws of Power.
LEGAL DRAMA
Cash Money founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams appeared in a Tennessee court yesterday (July 30) for a preliminary hearing related to his 2007 marijuana arrest.
As reported earlier, Tennessee police found marijuana in a rented RV which was carrying Birdman and his entourage in November 2007.
According to WJHL
EM>, three of the fifteen people who were arrested and charged along with Birdman didn’t show up at the court Tuesday. The hearing was continued until October when the group will go to trial.
PLAYING A SNITCH
Nelly will have a recurring role in the upcoming season of the popular CBS show CSI: New York.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Nelly will play a club owner who also serves as an informant for the CSI team.
The new season of CSI: New York will kick off in September.
KID FIGHT
Naledge of the Chicago rap dup Kidz In Hall was arrested at a Tempe club in Arizona over the weekend after police said he interfered with an investigation into a fight.
According to reports, Kidz In Hall had a show Saturday (July 30) at the Cherry Lounge & Pit and Naledge was arrested after failing to leave the club despite officers' repeated requests. At the time of the arrest, police were responding to a fight at the club.
Naledge was arrested on suspicion of delaying and obstructing a police investigation. He was booked into Tempe City Jail and posted a $500 bond.
