Rappers Give Their Opinion On Rick Ross Being A Prison Guard, 'I'm Disappointed' Says Maino printer friendly version Send this story to a friend!

Various rappers recently gave their opinion to MTVon what they think about Miami rapper Rick Ross being a correctional officer in the past.

As reported earlier, a picture showing Ross dressed as a prison guard had been circulating the internet and Ross repeatedly denied being a prison guard and claimed that the picture was photoshopped.  [Watch Ross Denying Being A Correction Officer]

Earlier this week, TheSmokingGun.com would release corrections records proving that Ross (born William Leonard Roberts) worked as a prison guard from 1995 to 1997.  [View Documents]

“The thing I wish is he came clean, if in fact that is him [in the photos].Cause you ain't gotta make no excuses for whatever you did,” Malice of The Clipse told MTV.  “You might have thought differently at one point in time.  I don't think that should discredit that man.”

“I'm not even going to go that far into it, “said  Mal's brother, Pusha T. “I don't know what it's gonna do to him, what it can or what it should d o to him.  I know the hip-hop community has given passes for much [worse].”

“I don't know if it will really hurt him,” Fabolous said.  “As an artist, I think Rick Ross makes great music.  He's always shown me love and respect whenever I met him.  Everybody has a past.  I don't know if [being a prison guard] is his past or not.  That's not my place to say.  I think if he continues to do what he does, sweep all that garbage under the rug — you know what?  That's success.  That's success taking a shot back at him.  All of a sudden past pictures come up.  He should just keep doing what he do.”

“He's a great dude.  He's my friend,” Fat Joe said.  “We'll just wait to see what [else] he has to say about it.”

“I'm disappointed,” Brooklyn rapper Maino said.  “I'm really disappointed.  I pride myself on being 100 percent who I am.  If I went to college and had a job before, I would just say that.  ... Him, in my opinion, I just think he should have just addressed it. ... 'Look, man. I was 19. It was a part of my life. ... I got to the coke later.'” [Watch Video Of Maino Speaking On Ross]

“I don't have a problem with what he was doing before the rap game,” added Maino. “That ain't my beef with him. The thing is, he was denying he was doing it. He said [the pictures] was Photoshopped and wasn't real.”

This is from a real dude, who came up with real situations and real life. First of all, man who cares? Tupac told alot of lies to get hype and blow up with Death Row. Big was more upset that Pac was lying than anything else. Big saw Pac and asked Pac why he was lying. Pac just started shaking his head back and forth saying, "I`m just trying to get this money. I`m just tryin to get this money". But Pac had every right to. That new york shooting definitely signaled foul disloyalties. So Pac`s way of getting back at those he felt betrayed him was to take the fame and the fortune. Pac did help blow Biggey up back then. Paul was an artist and a businessman who saw a too good of an opportunity to pass up. Now do I like fake ass snitch lyin niggas (or niggettes). Hell no. But I am a realistic person. So what. Rick Ross had a "coppy" jobby job. Dam nigga, we got to pay them bills. That`s reality. If you doin a crime and a black cop bust yo ass, THAT`S REALITY. He`s doin what he`s paid to do or what he believes in. Tupac let Hammer into Deathrow, because a real dude never knocks the hustle. These racist devils don`t want us to have nothing. So we do what we do so we can eat and our people can eat with us. IT`S ENTERTAINMENT. So anybody who bases their life, actions, emotions, and decisions of entertainment is the real problem. Who cares if Rick Ross is the Boss or not? Who cares if Jay Z did everything that he says he did? Them Niggaz (Especially 50 who told on and sold out a lot of people) is Hustlas baby. AND REAL NIGGA NEVA KNOCK THE HUSTLE. THAT`S ONE OF THE FIRST RULES TO THE GAME. Now if somebody wanna stop listenin to a fake gangsta rapper. That`s their business. If some body want to take revenge on a lying ass snitch. Then that`s the chickens coming home to roost. We waste too much time on this petty stuff. Peace out to Prodigy for trying to wake people up to them secret societies. That`s the real issue http://www.webspawner.com/users/colinbibleprophecy
