Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas has snagged a role in the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Nine.

According to Daily Variety, the movie's cast includes Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Sophia Loren.

Nine will begin shooting in the U.K. in October.

 

 

IN DUE TIME

Aftermath rapper Bishop Lamont recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he will be releasing his debut album titled The Reformation in November.

Lamont divulged the album will feature production from Lord Finesse, J Dilla and Dr. Dre, among others.

As for features, the Carson rapper claims he has plans of getting rocker Dave Matthews on the album.

 

FREE MAN

Lil Scrappy was released from jail earlier today (July 20) on $1,500 bond after being arrested in DeKalb County on Friday.

As reported earlier, Scrappy was stabbed on Friday night (July 18) during an altercation with his sister's boyfriend at her apartment.

Police who arrived at the scene rushed Scrappy to hospital for treatment and he was then arrested on felony charges of marijuana possession, weapons possession and obstruction of officers.

The injury that Scrappy suffered from the stabbing were not life threatening and the marijuana was found in the rapper’s car.

Scrappy's sister's boyfriend was not arrested or charged.
