DMX was arrested at a Phoenix mall today (July 19) on a felony charge of identify theft.
As reported earlier, the Yonkers bred rapper was under investigation for allegedly giving a false name at an Arizona hospital to avoid being billed.
Authorities claimed that DMX checked into one of three Mayo Hospital Clinics in Arizona on April 15 under the name of 'Troy Jones' and was treated for pneumonia.
They claim DMX stayed at the hospital for 8 hours and told a visitor to his hospital room that “someone in the projects is going to get the bill”.
This marks the fifth time that DMX has been arrested in past three months.
Earlier this month, he was arrested at a Phoenix airport for a failed court appearance and outstanding warrants. A week before the airport arrest, he was busted in Miami for attempting to buy cocaine and marijuana.

I`ve been a fan of X`s since he first started but it seems now he is better known for his getting into trouble more than his music. I remember him being so hot in rap but now its just not the same. X even says it himself about rap music nowadays that it has changed so. I love X like I said but he needs to stop making these crazy headlines with no music in sight from him. I know he has worked on a double album but the singles have gotten zero play and are not the quality he use to put out. When he first came onto the scene in 98 he kept it sooo hot because his albums were interesting and he brought something new to the game and a style that nobody has heard of before. He needs to reinvent himself and get a new image. Trust me I want to see him come back. I will forever be a loyal fan of his and will buy "Walk with me now and You`ll Fly with me later" but he needs to do something else to get pubicity for this album. Like I said I love X still but he needs to put out better singles.
