A planned appearance by T.I. at an Atlanta nightclub yesterday (July 10) was reportedly cut short by an altercation.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, T.I. was scheduled to give a court approved appearance at the Luckie Food Lounge on Wednesday night but an incident occurred.

T.I.'s lawyer, Steve Sadow, claims the rapper was not a part of the incident and did not witness it.

He also said as soon as the incident began to happen, T.I. was swiftly taken out the club by his security and a court-ordered monitor.

Sadow did not reveal details about the incident.  A police spokesperson did divulge that officers were called to the nightspot but they also did not reveal any details about the incident.

A manager for Luckie Food Lounge refused to comment or reveal what happened.

As reported earlier, T.I. plead guilty to various weapons charges last month as part of a plea deal to avoid trial.

Under the agreement, T.I. was ordered to do at least 1,000 hours of community service and have a court-approved monitor with him at all times.  He must also adhere to court given curfews.

If T.I. fulfills the obligations of the deal, he will only receive a year and a day behind bars when he is sentenced in March 2009.

Sadow said that T.I. did not break his curfew during his Wednesday nightclub appearance and he doesn’t expect his client to suffer any consequences for the incident.
