50 Cent has shot down speculation that his verse on the song “You So Tough" is aimed at T.I.
In the song , which is featured on G-Unit's latest album titled Terminate On Sight, 50 Cent raps: Nowadays this rap s**t ain't adding up/How n**gers get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months?" [Listen to "You So Tough"]
T.I. faced more than five years behind bars this year for possessing and buying unregistered guns but took a plea deal and was sentenced to one year in prison and a minimum of 1,000 hours of community service.
50 Cent claims that his verse wasn’t targeted at anyone in particular but he was speaking on ‘real life situations’.
“When have you known me to be indirect with an issue? If I had a problem with any artist, trust me, they would know,” 50 told MTV. “It's not really directed at him. It's me taking real-life situations. These things are relevant to hip-hop, period. I make something that's interesting enough for people to sink their teeth into, and I move forward.”
G-Unit’s Terminate On Sight
hits shelves today (July 1).
