DMX is set to lose a New York building he owns because of a long running battle with a dog clothing company.

According to The New York Post, DMX  was ordered to pay $281,000 to Amusing Diversions after the company filed suit in 2004 alleging DMX reneged on an agreement to promote its canine wear range.

The firm has spent the past four years attempting to get DMX to pay up and authorities are finally stepping in and forcing the sale of  the rapper's a $1 million townhouse in Harlem.

The sale is slated for August 13th.

 

SUGE TAKES A LOSS

Suge Knight's legendary rap label, Death Row Records, was auctioned and sold on Wednesday (June 25) for $24 million.

Deathrow, which was once home to Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur, was bought by Global Music Group.

Global Music Group now has control of all recordings by Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.

SOMEBODY’S EATING GOOD

Def Jam founder Russell Simmons was ordered by a Los Angeles court on Tuesday (June 24) to pay $40,000 a month in child support to his ex-wife Kimora Lee.

The former  hip hop power couple separated in 2006 and have two daughters.

 

DEBT IS CERTAIN

Kanye West has reportedly been ordered to pay over $600,000 to settle the mortgage on his late mother's home.

Kanye's mother, Dr. Donda West, died from surgical complications in November 2007.

According to TMZ, West was recently handed a court order requesting him to pay off his mother's debts and interest payments which were cause by delayed payments on the late 58-year-old's Illinois condo.
