Missy Elliot is currently putting finishing touches on her seventh studio album titled Block Party.

According to Billboard, the album will feature production from Souldiggaz, Danjahandz, Pharrell, T-Pain, Pointguard and Timbaland.

“This album is probably more musical and melodic than my previous ones,” Missy revealed to Billboard. “A lot of my albums are really hip-hop-driven, with tinges of other music genres.  But this album is hip-hop, with a sort of U.K. hip-hop sound to it.”

Missy will be releasing “Best Best” as the album's first single and a video for the song is currently in the works.

Block Party will hit shelves in August.  A specific release date was not given
