Common has reportedly signed on to co-star in the fourth installment of the Terminator series titled Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.
According to Daily Variety, Common will play a freedom fighter that joins John Connor's inner circle to fight machines that are eradicating the human race. Connor will be played by Christian Bale.
Terminator Salvation, which will be directed by McG, is expected to hit theatres on May 22, 2009.
As reported earlier, Common will be appearing on the big screen with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman in the sci-fi flick Wanted which his theatres on June 28th.
The Chicago rapper will also be releasing his eighth solo album titled Invincible Summer this year.
