An arrest warrant for Foxy Brown has been issued by a Brooklyn judge after the rapper failed to appear in court today (May 5).

As reported earlier, Brown is accused of hitting her neighbor with a Black Berry cell phone after they got into an argument last year.

Brown was scheduled to face the assault and weapons charges from the incident for the first time before Judge John Walsh Monday.

According to ABC 7, Walsh called Brown late this morning and the rapper's defense attorney didn’t know where she was.

Walsh will be setting a new date for her appearance.

Brown was released from New York's Rikers Correctional Facility last month after serving eight months for violating probation.
