T.I. announced today (April 25) that he will be releasing the first single off his upcoming album, Paper Trail, next week.

The Atlanta rapper plans to debut the track via his website, Streetcred.com, on Tuesday (April 29),

Paper Trail will be T.I.’s fifth solo album which he began recording while under house arrest for various weapons charges.

Ice-T recently revealed to The New York Post that he is developing a documentary on famed pimp turned author Ice Berg Slim.

Iceberg Slim (born Robert Lee Maupin) was a renown pimp in the Chicago area in his early 20's  before becoming a novelist in his 40's.  He wrote urban classics including Trick Baby and Mama Black Widow.

“Iceberg Slim has been one of the most influential people in black culture,” Ice-T told The Post.  “Few people know the story behind the man and it's time that story is told.”

Mississippi rapper David Banner will be releasing his fifth solo album titled The Greatest Story Ever Told on June 3rd.

The album will feature appearances from Chris Brown, Jim Jones, UGK, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Chamillionaire, Sean Paul, Yung Joc and Akon, among others.
