MJG, one-half of Memphis rap duo 8 Ball & MJG, will be releasing his sophomore solo album titled This Might Be The Day via 404 Music.

The album, which will hit shelves late April, will be a follow up to his 1999 solo debut, No More Glory.

Missy Elliot has launched an online competition called ‘Undiscovered' which seeks to find 5 women to be the faces of the rapper’s Respect M.E. clothing line.

Women of all ages can join the competition by logging on to www.adidas.com/missy and displaying their talent.  Ten finalists will be chosen by internet voters and then Missy will pick the five she feels best represent her Respect M.E. brand.

The five women will win $1000 in adidas gift cards and will be flown across the world to be shot by international photographers and be the global face of the Spring/Summer 09 Ad Campaign for Respect M.E.

RIDING DIRTY

California rapper Paperboy, well known for his 90's hit “Ditty”, was arrested by Merced authorities on Thursday (March 20) for drug possession and a traffic infraction

According to The Associated Press, authorities found a small amount of marijuana and a prescription bottle that was not under the rapper's name in his car after a traffic stop. Paperboy was also driving on a suspended license.

Paperboy was booked on misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and transportation, illegal possession of prescription medication and driving on a suspended license.  He was released after posting $10,000 bail.
