Snoop Dogg announced today (March 13) that he has remixed the theme song of ABC's popular soap opera One Life To Live and he will be performing and acting on the daytime series.

As reported earlier, Snoop tapped the show's execs offering to pen a tune for the series after hearing Mary J Blige would be performing on the show.

According to The Associated Press, Snoop will appear in two episodes of One Life To Live on May 8th and May 9th. Both episodes will include his remixed version of the show’s theme song. 

Aside from appearing in various scenes, Snoop will also perform “Sensual Seduction” and “Life of Da Party”, two singles from his new album Ego Trippin'.

“I've been a fan of One Life to Live since I was a baby,” Snoop said.  “My momma always had it on the tube in the crib growing up.  The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavor will make the show the Life of The Party.”
