The Game today (March 13) released a statmenet confirming that he was recentlty released from the Los Angeles Twin Towers Correctional Facility and apologized for the conficting reports.
"I apologize for the conflicting news on my release, but due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release," Game explained. "I am truly grateful to my attorney, family and management for doing a great job in this respect. Upon my release I went directly to the studio with producers Cool & Dre and recorded several records, including my street record 'Big Dreams.' Thank you to all my fans as well for the support."
As reported earlier, Game turned himself into the Twin Towers on March 3rd to serve a 60 day sentence for weapons possessions in relation to an altercation between him and another man at a basketball court located at a South Los Angeles school in 2007.
On Monday (March 10), reports would surface claiming that The Game had been released from jail after only serving 8 days of the sentence.
The rapper's lawyer would confirm the release but Game's management and representatives discounted the reports saying that Gam
e was only transferred and was still incancerated.
However, a rep for the Twin Towers would divulge Tuesday (March 11) that The Game's inmate status didn't indicate that he was transferred and could only mean he was a free man.
The Game will be releaisng his third solo album titled L.A.X. Times in June and his single "Big Dreams" will impact radio stations shortly.
