BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM) has joined forces with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am to make the rapper's online community, Dipdive.com, available to BlackBerry users.
DipDive.com is a social networking site that also features a music store,video and blogs.
Will.i.am used the site to launch the video for his song “Yes We Can” which featured the rapper/producer and other celebrities endorsing presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Research In Motion CEO, James Balsillie, told The Los Angeles Times yesterday (March 6) that Dipdive will be available to Blackberry users in the coming months.
As reported earlier, will.i.am will be starring alongside Hugh Jackman in the latest installment from the X-Men series titled X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The movie began production in Australia last month and is slated to open in theatres on May 1,2009.
