New Orleans rapper Juvenile was arrested in Meridian, Mississippi today (February 12) for marijuana possession.
According to TMZ, Juvenile was inside a car which was initially pulled over for expired tags and he was found with under an ounce of marijuana. The rapper would be booked and be released Tuesday afternoon.
The date for his court appearance in relation to the case is unknown.
In related news, Juvenile will be reuniting with his former group The Hot Boys and producer Mannie Fresh on stage for the first time in almost seven years during the All Star Weekend in New Orleans.
The Hot Boys, comprised of Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B. G. and Young Turk, helped rocket Cash Money Records to fame in the late 90's behind the production of Mannie Fresh.
The group would disband after B.G., Juvenile and Turk left Cash Money accusing the label's CEO, Bryan 'Birdman' Williams, of cheating them out of royalties. Mannie Fresh would also exit the label soon after with the same allegations.
Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Mannie Fresh will take
the stage at Club Dream on Sunday (February 17). Turk is currently serving a 10 year sentence on an attempted second-degree murder charge.
Bun B will also appear at the reunion. Tickets for the event are available at http://www.allstarnola.com/
