THUG ON DA LINE is the second full-length album by the legendary Grammy award winning rapper KRAYZIE BONE of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It's been two years since KRAYZIE's first solo project, the platinum-selling THUG MENTALITY 1999, came out.

On THUG ON DA LINE, KRAYZIE produced six songs: "Time After Time," "Everybody Wanna Be Thugs," "Hard Time Hustlin'," "Kneight Riduz Wuz Here," "Ready 4 Combat," and "Bloody Murder". THUG ON DA LINE reflects on the experiences KRAYZIE has had since then and expounds on inner city life in general.

Few people realize that it was KRAYZIE who spearheaded one of rap's domineering familes, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. It was KRAYZIE who landed the group’s deal with now deceased NWA front man Eazy-E. He took the group on a one-way trip to LA to follow their dream. Once there, he called Eazy and rapped for him over the phone. Eazy liked what he heard and told KRAYZIE he would get back to him. Eazy didn't get back soon enough. KRAYZIE heard NWA was playing in his hometown of Cleveland, so he raised enough money for the group to go back home and get with Eazy there. Once there, the group caught up with Eazy after the concert and the rest is history…

Sixshot: Did you just switch to the NY Record Label “Loud Records”?

Krayzie Bone: We are originally from Cleveland, Ohio. “The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony” hooked up with Eazy-E Record Label. We did stay with this Company, but my solo Album is on Loud Records. I did sign up with Loud maybe a year ago.

S: It was a l og time ago when the “Bone Thugs” era begins. How does it come, that you are from the east coast and you hooked up Eazy-E at a time where the East-West conflict was still big?

O yeah, man. The East-West coast battle was real, man. It is kind of over with now. We can go back to Ohio and it is cool, only the Media is trying to pump it up.

Why did you decide to hook up with somebody Easy-E in L.A. and not NY?

C: We didn’t know nobody in New York. We knew that we had a hook-up in Los Angeles. We could get to people in Los Angeles like Easy. We knew everything is going on in New York but the first thing we heard about was L.A. We didn’t know anybody down here.

S: Do you have any other upcoming projects?

C: Yeah, we got an other Bone Thugs-N-Harmony album droppin. I build up my own Record Label “Thug Line Records”.

Do you plan to come out to Europe? Touring?

Right now, I’m doing little things like Radio Shows. Whatever comes up at the time my album is out I try to stick with.

There is no Official Tour Planed?
No, not right now. Touring is not like it used to be back in the days.

Thanks for your time (BDA)
