DJ Craze and A-Track (they're touring together in 04) are the only other people in history to win 3 world titles since DJ Cheese started the club in 1986. What do they all have in common? Being under 21 while becoming international champions and residing in North America. A few years later Q-Bert formed the Invisible Scratch Pikelz with Mix Masta Mike, Apollo, and Shortcut. They brought home the trophy in 1999 as World Tag- Team champs by digging for sounds from other planets and dressing up as Spacemen. Coming out with Wavelengths the movie in 2000 brings us Q-Bert's futuristic Imagination of 3-D beat juggling and animated aliens. Laying down the foundation for Turntablism, he has brought his movement to the forefront of media consciousness. His name will always command respect worldwide, as he has parlayed two turntables and a mixer into a legend.

Sixshot.com: How did the concept for the Wavetwisters concept come about?
DJ Q-Bert: Well I love Graffiti on the walls with characters so I wanted to see those things animated into cartoons.

Sixshot.com: What happened with the Scratch Pikelz after the D.M.C. Championship?
DJ Q-Bert: We all went our separate ways after winning. Mike went Beastie Boys, Shortcut's with Triple Threat, and the rest of us been doing our own thing.

Sixshot.com: What are your thoughts on Schwarzenegger being Governor of California, since you live there?
DJ Q-Bert: He's a Nazi and Z-trip has a poster of him on his wall. (We all start laughing)

Sixshot.com: What are some joints you've done with emcees?
DJ Q-Bert: I've done some stuff on wax with Kool Keith.

Sixshot.com: If you were sent to another planet and could only bring 3 things what would you bring?
DJ Q-Bert: The QFO turntables that I designed, a mixer, and some records. Can I trade the records for my Girlfriend? (No humans Sorry)

Sixshot.com: What's your spider-sense in turntables?
DJ Q-Bert: Well... practice a lot first. I'd say making sure the crowd is always having a good time and so are you.

Sixshot.com: Who are some DJ's that have influenced you?
DJ Q-Bert: I like a lot of DJ's especially Z-trips Mom (These guys talk a lot of shit and clown each other!)

Sixshot.com: Do you get a lot of support from your family?
DJ Q-Bert: Oh Yea they say, "Give me some money!"
