Sixshot.com: I know you’ve had a few brushes with the law. Is that all behind you?
Gucci Mane: Everything is clear right now.

Sixshot.com: What’s something that you learned from that whole experience that may help someone else not go through the same thing?
Gucci Mane: I learned that everybody is not your friend. You have to watch who you associate with and surround yourself with positive things and people who want to do something positive.

Sixshot.com: Did your record label stand behind you throughout the ordeal?
Gucci Mane: They stood behind me 100 percent.

Sixshot.com: What about family and real friends?
Gucci Mane: I had a lot of support.

Sixshot.com: Have you been keeping a low profile since your release?
Gucci Mane: I’ve been keeping a low profile

Sixshot.com: Did you do any writing while incarcerated?
Gucci Mane: Yes, I wrote over 50 songs.

Sixshot.com: Will you be promoting your current album or a new one?
Gucci Mane: I’m promoting the current album. I have a second single “Go Ahead” and will be shooting the video in mid February. I’m also working on my new album which will come out in May.

Sixshot.com: Do you feel any pressure to top the single “So Icy?”
Gucci Mane: I don’t feel any pressure. In fact, I think my new single is hotter than “So Icy.”

Sixshot.com: What other songs should we be on the look out from you?
Gucci Mane: After “Go Ahead”, be ready for my next album.

Sixshot.com: How long does it take you to record a song once you get in the studio?
Gucci Mane: It might take me about 20 minutes at the most.

Sixshot.com: So you write all of your lyrics?
Gucci Mane: Yes.

Sixshot.com: What makes your album stand out from some of the others that are out now?
Gucci Mane: Nobody raps like me. I’m Alabama born but raised in Atlanta. I’m like a country boy with city slang. I give you the best of both worlds. Not too many rappers do it like I do it.

Sixshot.com: Do you think growing up in Atlanta helped you with your rap?
Gucci Mane: Yeah it helped me a lot. A lot of things going on made me into a rapper.

Sixshot.com: What are your plans for 2006?
Gucci Mane: I wrote a movie and plan on releasing it this winter.

Sixshot.com: How can fans keep up with your releases and concerts?
Gucci Mane: www.thinkcatrecords.net

Sixshot.com: I understand that when you were incarcerated a lot of fans wrote you. Is there anything you want to say to those fans?
Gucci Mane: I’ll like to tell all the people who wrote me and said a prayer for me, “Thank you’ll from the bottom of my heart.”
