luda used to be the man, back when roll out came out, he was on top. no one could touch luda. but now...hes losin it, i still got love for luda, and ill still cop the cd...but man, we need another cd like back for the first time.

It's not the typical Ludacris album
Seeing he's the only one pulling his weight around at the house that Russell Simmons built, Ludacris is ready to show some shine to the troubled label. Although lacking his usual Disturbing Tha Peace family, he still surprises the fans. He has carried along "Potion", "Get Back", "2 Miles" and "Virgo" reasonably well. It would of been tight to have that single "The Whole City Behind Us" on that album. But I was pretty satisfied with the album. Even though it lacked the usual chrisma that Ludacris brings to the table. Hopefully will see him do reasonable numbers.

Luda and no classic ? I would say 'Word of Mouf' was one but this album ain't no milestone. It's better then 'Chicken 'N Beer' and 'Word of Mouf' was so much better then everything that followed. So there's only 'Back For The First Time' Vs. 'The Red Light District' and becuz of trackz like 'Southern Hospitality','Ho' & 'What's Your Fantasy' 'Back For The First Time' gets the advantage. 'The Red Light District' only ranked third outta 4 albums - Luda could do better.
Oh and where the fuck is your DTP-Family? Only Bobby V. is on the record - no Shawnna, no Dealer...

This album is definitely hot. Ludacris just gets better album by album. He is holding the south down fo sho. He is impressive with the way he choses his words and uses them. Although I do feel he should have reached out to some hot artists as well he is just show casing his talent and letting people know he dont need alot of guest artists to help him sell. Luda keep doing yo thang

Real good CD, Spur of the Moment is actually a good song. The Potion should been on Ipod Worthy, but ipods hold like thousands of songs so all are ipod worthy
