Leaders and Gangstas respectfully alike possess the ability to command respect no matter the circumstance, whether it be in person, the mention of their name or just the sound of their voice. Enter Jim Jones; who I like to call a modern day gangsta, with his leadership qualities and street savvy, he took one of the hottest underground groups and put them on the map, negotiated his own solo deal with KOCH and just recently inked a partnership between Diplomat Records and KOCH. With that same take charge personality and leadership disposition ( incidentally…he can lead me anywhere…but sorry ladies, he’s spoken for…I checked) he commands that same respect on wax, not only is Mr. Jones one of the brightest cats in the game but also one of the realest and that’s gangsta. |
