Is the Lil Wayne/50 Cent beef about to heat up. Wayne performed the track “Gossip” at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Saturday (October 13) and the show aired last night (October 17).

Word is “Gossip” is a subliminal shot at 50 Cent.

In the past few months, 50 has called the New Orleans rapper a ‘whore’ because of his numerous collaborations with different artists including his rival, Ja Rule.

Lil Wayne’s  The Carter III drops in December and G-Unit’s sophomore group album , Shoot To Kill,  drops in the same month as well.

Wayne will also be appearing on Jay-Z’s American Gangster which drops on November 6th.
