50 Cent has something to celebrate as John Fabrizi, the Mayor of Bridgeport,Connecticut, declared Friday (October 12)“50 Cent Day”.
According to Newsday, 50 will be honored with a key to the city as well as an official proclamation.
The G-Unit boss will also be presenting a check to Hall Neighborhood House, an inner-city nonprofit group, and will speak to about 30 students from city high schools as part of his charity work to improve young people's lives.
50 is currently shooting the movie Righteous Kill in Connecticut which also stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. The flick centers around the two police officers who attempt to catch a serial killer, while resolving personal issues between each other.
50 will play a drug dealer in the film which will open in theatres in 2008.
