Based on his fling with Vivica A. Fox, we already know 50 CENT  has a thing for older women. Has the 31-year-old rapper turned his attention toward yet another 40-something actress?

In Touch Weekly claims the G-Unit general is dating Victoria Rowell, who met the artist on the set of their recent military drama, Home of the Brave. Apparently, sparks flew and the two have been a couple ever since.

"Victoria loves the edge that 50 Cent has," a friend of the actress tells In Touch

Rowell, who has an 11-year-old son by ex-boyfriend Wynton Marsalis, is best known for her former role as Drucilla Barber Winters on the CBS soap The Young and the Restless.

NO MORE CURSING

MASTER P  says he will no longer use profanity and negative lyrics in his music and is co-launching a record label with his son, rapper Romeo, that will sign only artists with profanity-free lyrics.

P’s decision comes as hip hop is under attack for its violent and mi sogynistic lyrics. The subject, sparked by the racist and sexist remarks of fired radio host Don Imus, has been championed of late by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the NAACP, as well as discussed in two back-to-back town hall episodes of “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

"The entrepreneur and his son Romeo have launched Take A Stand Records and are currently searching for "hip-hop artists with street music without offensive lyrics," according to Master P. A nationwide talent search will be held through his new reality television show, America's Next Hip-Hop Stars.com.

LIFTING A LEGEND

BEYONCE has signed a deal with Giorgio Armani to be the face of his latest fragrance. The latest deal follows Knowles' partnership with Tommy Hilfiger in 2004, as the spokesmodel for his True Star perfume.

The former Destiny's Child will star in advertisements for Emporio Armani Diamonds, which hits US stores in the Autumn.

DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE

Reports of NICK CANNON getting engaged to his model girlfriend Selita Ebanks seem to be untrue.

In a post on  her Myspace page , the model said "I HAVE TO CLEAR UP SOMETHING…..SELITA ENGAGED? NO WAY I must tell you, everyone thinks Nick and I are engaged but yet we are really not…I had to talk to him after the proposal because I felt he didn’t really do it for the right reasons…it was like a publicity stunt and all..I didn’t to much care for it at all…all I did was hug him and whispered in his ear “We truely need to talk for sure!…Which we did and this is why I’m not engaged right now! Thanks to you all for the blessings but I’m sorry the media had lead you astray! Don’t believe the hype of the media!"

ROCK SOLID

AESOP ROCK's highly anticipated album None Shall Pass—his first full-length album in four years—has a set date: August 28th.

HipHopDX reports it will be released on Definitive Jux, and will feature production and a cameo from El-P. Blockhead, Rob Sonic, and Ace Rock himself handle the rest of the production.

 EVERYBODY WANNA RAP NOW

According to Variety, MTV is looking to bring a new hip-hop reality show to the channel called Rapping with the Stars.

The show would be an offshoot of the popular ABC television series, Dancing with the Stars, which places celebrities — such as all-pro football players Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith — with professional dancers in weekly dance offs. Similarly, Rapping with the Stars will pair celebrities with real life MCs, who will then compete in musical challenges judged by a panel of hip-hop pros.

AND THE WINNER IS

Following in the footsteps of Pink, CIARA  has selected three unsigned artists, Paula Campbell, Tiffany Evans and Samantha Jade, for the Glamour Reel Music contest, which launched earlier this week. Fan voting on Glamour.com will determine a winner, who will then appear in a video directed by Ciara.

POP MY TRUNK

WINE-O  recently cited August 7th as the release date of his next full-length album, "I Hear You Talkin' Behind My Back." The first single from the record, Hokey Pokey, features a collaboration with DJ Unk  and will be out in early June. Wine-O's own label, Wine-O Music, will release the disc in a partnership with OarFin Distribution, and it will be available through Navarre Corp.

Since his hit single "Pop My Trunk" (featuring Paul Wall) landed on the Top 100 R&B/Hip-Hop chart in 2006, Wine-O has been stock-piling new material. The rapper plans to release more than one album this year, including the highly-anticipated record "Hate Me."

Wine-O, formerly known as the “spiritual” rap artist Nuwine, has had success with both Christian and secular music, topping the hip-hop charts in each category. He is also an accomplished producer, having worked on tracks for Mike Jones and Letoya Luckett of Destiny’s Child, among others.
