RELEASE DATES AND ALBUM INFO ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Sorry Ladies and Gentlemen, for not posting anything this past week.

Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames. COLOR: red">

There wasn’t much to report about in Week #4, because all of us rap media outlets were so consumed with NAS’s signing with Def Jam, the CAM’RON/JAY-Z  feud and those damn chancletas.

Now that God Son and Jay-Hovah are the best of friends, do you think they are plotting on getting at Cam'ron on a track?  Hmmm...

Speaking of Nas, he recently revealed to The New York Post that he had plans of calling his upcoming album N***a.

"That's the name right now," he told the Post “I don't care about sales; I never was a big sales dude, so it never really mattered.  I'm astonished by the psychological gymnastics some people perform to make that self-denigrating word acceptable.  No other race does it.  Why is it accepted?  In an industry that makes MICHEAL JACKSON take out a word that was offensive to Jewish people, why does it sanitize a word that continues to be used by the Ku Klux Klan when it attacks our people?"

A spokesperson from Def Jam would later clarify that Nas was just being facetious about the title and he has just begun recording the album.

LOVE TRAINGLE

Like we all know (unless, you live under a rock), Nas’s baby momma CARMEN had relations with Jay-Z in the past, and she will be revealing all the dirt in her upcoming book Sex Drugs and Hip Hop…Oh and Did I Mention Love.

In the latest issue of King Magazine, Carmen says that both her and Nas were guilty of fooling around when they were together.  She claims Nas admitted to dating MARY J BLIGE and that her cheating ways were almost exposed at a MARIAH CAREY party.

“I spot Jay-Z but he cant see Nas cause it’s so crowded.  He’s coming over with a bottle in his hand and I’m shaking like a leaf, sweating bullets, my make up is running.  I’m like “Oh My God, tonight’s the night”.  But as soon as Jay spots Nas, he takes the bottle, passes it to the guy in front of him and walked away."

She also reveals that she was pregnant by Jay-Z but lost the baby through a miscarriage.

Jay would say ‘You know I’m going to get you pregnant, right?.  I remember him saying, ‘Carmen, if you had that baby it would have been all over the news, it would have been crazy’.

WHEN CAM SPEAKS, PEOPLE LISTEN

At his press conference which went down on Jan 25th, aside from calling JAY-Z a camel and claiming that his moves aren’t a publicity, CAM’RON let the masses know that Killa Season (the album) will be out on April 25th  and Killa Season (the movie) will be out on April 11th.

He also plans to release a DVD through Koch Records which will be documentary dealing with child molestation and the internet.

Cam also mentioned that J.R. WRITER’s album will be out June 27th and HELL RELL’s

debut will be out July 4th, both albums will be released through Koch.

Both the aforementioned rappers will release a joint project titled Double Trouble which will be released via Asylum Records.

Diplomatic Immunity 3 will be out August 29th and JIM JONES and JUELZ SANTANA are already working on their third albums.

Cam’ron also plans to launch his new magazine Platinum Entrepreneur and the website killacam.net, which will sell clothes and have a TV show that spins videos.

THE TAKEOVER

Are DMX and CAM’RON planning to bring down Def Jam?

While DMX was revealing his frustrations about the label to FUNKMASTER FLEX during a Hot 97 interview, CAMRON called in to show support to X and mentioned he was in the 'middle of a hostile takeover' and DMX seemed more than happy to help Cam with his mission.

“I wanna be part of that hostile takeover” stated DMX.  “You be America, I’ll be England and we gonna take over Iraq.

Cam responded by saying:  "We gonna send the troops in and let’s make it happen, say no more”

Earlier on in the interview, DMX poked fun at L.A. REID for wearing 'Chinese slippers with gold beads on them'.  He also added he wants to duff K-SOLO and he wanted to kick PHARRELL’s chest in.

Listen to the interview here.

In other DMX news, the rapper recently buried the hatchet with Murder Inc honcho IRV GOTTI.  The two are set to work together on X’s upcoming album Here We Go Again which is slated for release in April.
