The accountant for New York rap label The Inc., formerly Murder Inc., was sentenced to six months house arrest for cooking the books.
Cynthia Brent was the only conviction to come out of the federal probe of the label owned by brothers Irv and Chris Gotti. The Gottis were earlier acquitted of charges they laundered drug money through their label.
Chris Gotti attended Monday's sentencing of Brent in federal court, the New York Post said.
Brent was given two years of probation and six months house arrest.
"I learned that if I take shortcuts, there are consequences," said Brent, who admitted making cash deposits that did not have to be reported to federal banking watchdogs.
