         RELEASE DATES, TOUR DATES AND ALBUM INFO ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. 

 

NELLY will be re-releasing his double album-Sweat and Suit as one album on November 22nd.  Titled Sweatsuit, the re-issue wi ll feature #1 hits culled from the two discs along with three brand new tracks.

 

Nelly will perform the new single, "Grillz," featuring PAUL WALL, ALI and GIPP at BET's upcoming 25th Anniversary show, which will air on the network in November.

 

In other Nelly news, he will be the recipient of RUSSELL SIMMONS & THE HIP HOP SUMMIT ACTION NETWORK "Action Award" for his outstanding contributions to the 4SHO4KIDS FOUNDATION and leukemia awareness.  The ceremony will take place in New York on November 16th.

 

LIL' FLIP will release his next album I Need Mine on December 6th.  The album boasts apperances from MANNIE FRESH, NATE DOGG and YUKMOUTH.

 

"The Chopped & Screwed" version of  BUN B's Trill will hit stores on November 1st.  Be sure to check out the review by Premiere.

 

MARIAH CAREY will re-issue her latest album The Emancipation Of Mimi on November 15th as a "Platinum Edition" with four new tracks featuring TWISTA, JERMAINE DUPRI, JADAKISS and STYLES P .

 

CAM'RON'S 's fifth album Killa Season is due in February.  A film of the same name will also arrive around that time. To watch the trailer...CLICK HERE.

 

MARY J. BLIGE will release a retrospective album on December 6th titled Reminisce.  She will receive the VLegend award at this year's Vibe Awards.  The event will be taped November 12th in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on November 15th on UPN.

CHAMILLIONAIRE's debut album The Sound Of Revenge hits stores on November 22nd.  The album will feature apperances and production from SCOTT STORCH, LIL FLIP, BUN B, KRAYZIE BONE, KILLER MIKE, PASTOR TROY, MANNIE FRESH, COOL & DRE, SCARFACE and LIL WAYNE.  Cham is currently on a promotional tour and you can find the dates further down in this article.

LUDACRIS can be heard helping JAMIE FOXX serenade the ladies on "Unpredictable" which is the first single from Jamie's album titled Unpredictable

 

The album which will be in stores on December 6th features apperances and production from MARY J BLIGE, KANYE WEST, PHARRELL, TIMBALAND,TWISTA, UNUSUAL SUSPECTS, MIKE CITY and SEAN GARRETT.

 

On the big screen, you can catch Jamie in the war movie JarHead.  The movie which opens in theatres on November 4th is based on former Marine ANTHONY SWOFFORD'S best-selling 2003 book about his experiences fighting in Kuwait.

 

CHRIS BROWN's self-titled debut will be out on November 29th.

 

Need For Speed:  Most Wanted hits shelves on November 15th. The game will feature music from JUVENILE, LUPE FIASCO, STYLES OF BEYOND, T.I., P$C and THE ROOTS.

 

On November 8thUSHER will release the DVD Behind the Truth:  Truth Tour Live.  The three-disc box captures an entire concert from his hometown of Atlanta.

 

Usher's latest movie In The Mix ( see trailer ) hits theatres on November 23rd.  The soundtrack will feature music from RICO LOVE, ONE CHANCE , ANTHONY HAMILTON, CLAUDETTE ORTIZ, PAUL WALL, CHRISTINA MILIAN and CHRIS BROWN.  A firm release date for the soundtrack has yet to be determined.

 

ROSA PARKS, the black seamstress whose refusal to give up her seat  to a white man sparked a revolution in American race relations, died on Monday.  The U.S. civil rights pioneer was 92.  Parks made headlines in 1999 when she filed a lawsuit against OUTKAST which was settled earlier this year.

 

BEEF 3 (the DVD) will hit stores on November 15th. This time around, the third installment of the Beef series focuses on the "beefs" between 50 CENT and THE GAME, LIL FLIP and T.I., NELLY and CHINGY just to name a few.

 

JUELZ SANTANA's sophomore album What The Game's Been Missing hits shelves on November 22nd and will boast apperances from CAMRON, YOUNG JEEZY and SIZZLA.

 

ANTHONY HAMILTON will return on December 6th with his latest project titled, Ain't Nobody Worryin'.  The album will feature production from MARK BASTON, RAPHAEL SAADIQ, CED SOLO, and KELVIN WOOTEN. The first single off the album is "Can't Let Go".  To listen to it...CLICK HERE.

On November 8th, the soundtrack to 50 CENT's motion picture debut Get Rich or Die Tryin' hits stores. The soundtrack features apperances from YOUNG BUCK, LLOYD BANKS, M.O.P., TONY YAYO, NATE DOGG, MOBB DEEP and OLIVIA.  The film hits theaters November 9th and the video game 50 Cent:  Bulletproof  hits stores on November 22nd.

An unauthorized documentary, 50 Cent: Refuse to Die, will be available on DVD on November 8th.

D4L, the group behind the hit single, “Laffy Taffy” will unleash their debut album D4L:  Down For Life on November 8th.

SAMUEL L. JACKSON will be hosting the Spike TV Video Game Awards 2005 which air on December 10th.

MISSY ELLIOT, XZIBIT and SNOOP DOGG will be at the star-studded event.

Jackson's latest film Freedomland will open on December 23rd.  The story follows a white woman who when her daughter disappears and is believed to be dead, blames an African-American man from the projects for the kidnapping, creating a racial controversy.

JAGGED EDGE's fifth album Jagged Edge is slated for a November 29th release.  The album will feature apperances from VOLTIO, JOHN LEGEND, KILLER MIKE, SOSA, BAD GIRL and BIG DUKE.  To listen to their first single "So Amazing" ft VOLTIO...CLICK HERE.

 

TYLER PERRY will reprise his role as Madea (the crazy granny from Diary of a Mad Black Woman) in his latest movie Madea's Family Reunion.  This time around Madea tries to hold a family reunion, a funeral gathering, and a wedding all on the same weekend.  The movie is expected to open in February 2006BORIS KODJOE and BLAIR UNDERWOOD also star in the film.

 

FLOETRY's third CD, Flo’Ology drops on November 8th.  The album features apperances from COMMON and production from RAFAEL SADDIQ and WHITELEAF PRODUCTIONS.

THE GAME is currently working on his second album titled The Doctor's Advocate. According to reports, he has already recieved beats from JUST BLAZE, DR. DRE, COOL & DRE and KANYE WEST.

 

JAHEIM will drop his third album Ghetto Classics on December 13th.

 

EMINEM's Best Of/Greatest Hits Collection, Curtain Call hits stores on December 6th.

 

KURUPT and DAZ will release their latest project Dillinger & Young Gotti 2:  The Saga Continues on November 1st.

 

On December 6thOUTKAST will be releasing Idlewild, the soundtrack to its new musical film set for release in January 2006.  The film is set in the Depression-era and tells the story of a struggling musician (ANDRE 3000) and the owner of a speakeasy (BIG BOI).

 

YOUNGBLOODZ third album Everybody Know Me will hit shelves on December 13th.  The album features apperances and production from YOUNG BUCK, LIL SCRAPPY, SHAWTY PUTT, TOO SHORT, JAZZE PHA, T-BOZ  and DAZ DILLINGER

AKON will re-release his album Trouble on November 22nd with a bonus disc which will feature songs with BABY BASH, KARDINAL OFFISHALL, MIRI BEN ARI and THE BEATNUTS.

 

XZIBIT and RZA will have small roles in the movie Derailed which opens on November 11th. XZIBIT will also be co-starring alongside "THE ROCK " in The Gridiron Gang which will hit theatres late 2006.

 

West Coast lyricist RASCO will release his latest album titled The Dick Swanson Theory Pt. 1 on November 29th. The album features apperances from PLANET ASIA, AESOP ROCK, OPIO, SAN QUINN and RAS KASS.

 

MARQUES HOUSTON and OMARION are currently shooting the feature film Somebody Help Me.  The film is directed by You Got Served director CHRISTOPHER B. STOKES.

 

LIL WAYNE's The Carter II will hit shelves on December 6th.  Wayne is currently preparing to embark on a multi-city tour that kicks off in November, and also features YOUNG JEEZY and T.I.  Dates will be announced soon.

 

T-PAIN's debut album hits stores on December 6th.

 

GINUWINE returns on November 15th with his fifth album Back II Da Basics.  The album features production from JAZZE PHA, TRACKMASTERS and THE UNDERDOGS, just  to name a few.

 

AND 1 Streetball (the video game) will hit shelves on February 3rd 2006.  The game will feature players from the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour such as AO, THE PROFESSOR and SPYDA .

 

TALIB KWELI's latest project titled Right About Now hits stores on November 22ndJEAN GRAE and  MOS DEF make apperances.

 

The "Chopped and Screwed" version of  TWISTA's The Day After will be out on November 8th.

 

BEASTIE BOYS will release a compilation of their greatest hits on November 8th.  The CD titled Solid Gold Hits will also include a DVD of the group's videos.

 

On November 1st, R. KELLY will release a DVD containing the videos for Trapped In The Closet (Chapters 1-12). The DVD will include never before seen footage as well as a documentary on the making of the Trapped saga.

 

The self proclaimed "Pied Piper" will then release Remix City Volume 1, a collection of all of  his classics remixed on November 15th.

 

Kelly who has a child pornography case hanging over his head,  is due back in court on December 9th.

 

SHEEK LOUCH's second album After Taxes is slated for a November 8th release.  The album will feature apperances from CARL THOMAS, BEANIE SIGEL, JADAKISS, STYLES P, REDMAN, GHOSTFACE, FABOLOUS and T.I.

 

PHARRELL will release his solo album In My Mind on November 15th.  The album features apperances from JAY-Z, GWEN STEFANI, SLIM THUG and DADDY YANKEE.

 

SNOOP DOGG and his Doggystle Records signed a muti-album deal with Koch Records.

 

The first release from the venture will be Snoop Dogg Presents Welcome To Tha Chuuch Tha Album, which hits stores on December 13th.  The album will feature new tracks with KURUPT, NATE DOGG, LADY OF RAGE, DAZ DILINGER, RBX and many more.

 

BONE THUGS -N- HARMONY will re-release their greatest hits CD "Chopped and Screwed" on November 1st.

DANNY GLOVER recently signed on for the movie Dreamgirls. BEYONCE KNOWLES , JAMIE FOXX and EDDIE MURPHY will also star in the movie which begins production next year.  Based on the Broadway hit, "Dreamgirls" is a fictionalized version for the story of THE SUPREMES, focusing instead on a girl group called the Dreamettes.

 

SHAQ will have a small role in Scary Movie 4 which opens in theatres on April 14th 2005.

 

NAS's protégé Quan was recently arrested on charges of marijuana possession, being a felon in possession of a handgun, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.

 

TYRESE's next album Alter Ego will be a double disc:  one half Hip Hop and the other R&B.  The album is scheduled for a 2006 release and he will co-star alongside JAMES FRANCO in the drama Annapolis which opens in theatres January 27th.
