Baby (pictured on the right))of the Cash Money Millionaires /Big Tymers has developed a signature shoe with Lugz which will hit stores nationwide on May 15th to celebrate the shoe company’s 10-year anniversary.

The shoe, deemed The Birdman shoe is a combined effort between Baby and Larry Schwartz, Executive Vice President of Lugz. Schwartz said the union was a no-brainer.

“Baby is one of the most influential hip-hop artists of today. He has sold millions of albums and his fan base is worldwide,” said Schwartz via statement. “We are really excited about this new partnership and expect to make a major impact in the marketplace.”

“The Birdman sneaker reflects my own personal style,” Baby said. “And this is just the beginning. Believe that.” A Cash Money Stack Clip will be included with every pair of “The Birdshoe.”

The shoe will retail at an affordable $70, significantly cheaper than others. The shoe will also have colors in white, pink (for women) and more colors in the summer.

Ironically, the pricing of the shoe contrasts with the high-end, ghetto fabulous lifestyle of Baby, who helped usher in the “bling-bling” era of hip-hop.

Last year, Lugz put the Funkmaster Flex’s Driving Shoe on the market. Soon thereafter other companies followed suit putting out signature shoes with rappers.
