If a rapper wants to make a big time hit that tops the charts, it's always a safe bet to do a song with Nate Dogg. With a smooth cool voice he can be heard on hip-hop records that have sold over 65 million copies. From artists like Tupac, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, Ludacris, 50 Cent, not to mention how he came up in one of the dopest soundtracks of all time, Above The Rim, featuring Pac. He's got a new album coming out this summer so be sure to check the record stores soon! We had a chance to hook up with Nate and find out what his future has to hold, check it out!

Nate Dogg:What's up man?

Sixshot: What's up man, how you doing?

Nate: Chillin man, making it happen!

Sixshot: How you keep your style so fresh through the years?

Nate: I don't know man, I just do what I do! If the beat is tight, I try to come as tight as the beat is, you know!

Sixshot: Where are you trying to take your music?

Nate: All the way to a mansion and yacht, and a private jet!

Sixshot: You're not there yet?

Nate: Not the private jet, but I'm working on it.

Sixshot: What's your goal in the next five years?

Nate: Umm! I don't know, to retire maybe and let my son get in the business so he can do what I do!

Sixshot: Your Label?

Nate: Dogg Pound Foundation Records three years ago, made it happen!

Sixshot: So what's your plan for the future?

Nate: Just hangin out, got my album coming out this summer, and then in the winter we droppin the 213 album, me and Snoop and Warren so we got a lot of stuff goin on.

Sixshot: What's your album called?

Nate: Self titled album called Nate Dogg.

Sixshot: Nice! Who are the featured artists on the album?

Nate: Wow I got a lot of people on there, Redman, Snoop, Warren G, DJ Quik, Xzibit, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Rottweiler Production, Dre, 50 Cent.

Sixshot: What do you think about the beef between 50 Cent and Ja Rule and all this?

Nate: I don't know that's there little personal thing, I don't really have a comment on that thing, because I'm not in that thing, If I was in that then I could say something, but I don't really know.

Sixshot: How do you always keep out of it?

Nate: Because, if you ever been in the state pennitentary, you understand if you're not in something, then you stay out of it, you know and that's how I do.That's a easy way to stay out of it!

Sixshot: What would you say you're all about?

Nate: All about being Nate, all about making good music, and trying to feed my kids, and make the future for my childeren better, that's exactly what I'm about, and I'm about drinking now and then and girls and shit, you know!
