In life there is a general rule, few things are as good as or better than the original. But sometimes there are exceptions and Joe’s rendition of Stevie Wonder’s That Girl is one of those exceptions. There is no doubt that Joe can vocally and creatively hang with the best of them, however on this joint he demonstrates a new dimension to his game. That Girl is featured on the Stevie Wonder tribute album: Conception, which has a release date of March. Joe and Mr. Cheeks definitely compliment each other on the single and I just hope the “rap version” featuring Cheeks gets as many spins as the “R&B” version. The due does a good job of adding their own twist to the joint with out hindering Stevie’s Masterpiece.
