A former anti-gang employee who was involved in the robbery and assault of Bizzy Bone earlier this year was sentenced to 12 years in prison yesterday (November 24).

According to The Associated Press, Marlon "Bow Wow" Jones and three co-defendants plead no contest Tuesday in connection with the robbing and beating of Bizzy Bone at a Los Angeles hotel in January.

The men beat and choked the Cleveland bred rapper and stole his jewelry.

At the time of his arrest, Jones was a contract employee for the Los Angeles anti-gang organization Unity One.

Jones, who was terminated from Unity One, admitted that the robbery and assault were done for the benefit of a street gang.

Jones' co-defendants were sentenced to six to 19 years each.
